Ballyscullion Park - Zoe & Peter

Ballyscullion Park, the perfect venue for a mid summer wedding, going for garden party vibes and showing off with its stunning, well cared for grounds. End of June meant colours popping in every direction and we were spoilt for choice on where we could go for our photos with Zoe & Peter. We wandered round the grounds, stopping in areas of shade and dappled light, took a few moments to get some images of them together and then moved on. Having your ceremony and reception is the best way to have a chilled straightforward wedding day, and Ballyscullion Park lends itself perfectly to this set-up. Zoe & Peter even got ready there that morning meaning no travel involved on the day, and again, less stress and more time to enjoy their day. Perfect!

A Christmas Wedding at Castle Leslie...

If you could have the perfect textbook Christmas wedding, it would probably look something like these images below. Bonnie & Hugh always knew that the forecast would be hugely unpredictable at this time of year, so anything other than rain on their wedding day would be a bonus for them. Sun and ice to begin the day, and mystical winter fog to end with was actually really perfect!

Castle Leslie is the perfect venue in winter (or anytime in Ireland!) as there are so many indoor/sheltered alternatives if it rains. At Christmas, it has that extra ‘je ne sais quoi’… and it’s always a treat to be there, especially under the watchful eye of Eugene, The Bearded Bridesmaid! Personally, and I know it sounds silly but one of the highlights for me was Bonnie’s bow! I couldn’t get enough of it, just the sweetest little addition to her dress and style. Enjoy these pictures from a magical Christmas winter wedding…
